Elite Four

Here are the Elite Four Members and the champion that you'll find in the Lusola Region!

You will be able to choose which Elite Four member you fight when you get to the Pokemon League. The Champion will be the last trainer you fight.

Amari

The Grass-type Elite Four member!

Tips:
  • Amari specializes in a variety of status effects and field hazards. She likes to constantly switch out her Pokemon and change the state of the battle. As a result, her team is very susceptible to entry hazards.
  • Two of her Pokemon have double-weaknesses, so try to play around that. Just be careful not to use a super-effective move on Exploak because that'll let it use its Weakness Policy!
  • She will Dynamax and use a Z-Move when she is down to her last two Pokemon.

Andy and Olly

The Poison-type Elite Four members!

(The fact that one of the Elite Four members is technically two people is a twist in the game that happens when you enter their room. Twist spoiled if you read this!)

Tips:
  • Try to find Pokemon who have supportive moves that remove status conditions - moves like Heal Bell work great for this fight since they'll constantly be re-applying toxic poison!
  • Their Polluteon is a real menace - its ability prevents the hazards from being cleared even after it leaves the battlefield making all their hazards permanent. Try to knock it out before it sets up too many hazards!
  • Andy and Olly rely on a lot of chip damage to ruin your day, what with poison, corrosive rain, and curse to soften your Pokemon up for their last pokemon, who will Terastalize and Z-Move! Be prepared because they save their finishers for last!

Oberon

The Fairy-type Elite Four member!

Tips:
  • There are plenty of different threats in Oberon's team, but one of the biggest threats are Qishinn and Delphox - their job is to spread status effects to your Pokemon and disappear - Wishinn especially will annoy your Pokemon with constant switch-outs.
  • In addition to this, his Pokemon are quite tanky and constantly heal each other.
  • Last but not least, his final Pokemon is Lindormelot. It'll Terastalize and use a Z-Move. Try not to lower its stats otherwise it'll transform faster! Once it transforms, don't forget its speed and attack doubles!

Hector

The Dark-type Elite Four member!

Tips:
  • Although Hector has a good balance of defensive and offensive Pokemon, he has little to no healing so try to take advantage of it.
  • His Alakazam will take advantage of switching in and out to make sure it diverts its attention away from the other Pokemon.
  • Hector uses Dynamax and Z-moves at some point, but it's not guaranteed that he will save it for his last Pokemon.

Ava

The Normal-type Elite Four member!

Tips:
  • Her team and some parts of her strategy changes depending on your starter. She will always have one normal-type that shares a type with your starter, then she will have the unchosen starter in your team, and her Cosmondial's second typing will always be super-effective to your starter.
  • Snoozette is very tanky and will make her other Pokemon tankier while it sleeps, so try to get rid of it before it does any more damage.
  • She can either Terastalize or use Dynamax during her fight, and she will always use at least one Z-move. However, these are not predictable.
